Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about certification, compliance, and PathH₂O.

Which states does PathH₂O support?+

PathH₂O is built to adapt to any state’s water and wastewater licensing rules — study content, license levels, and CE requirements are configured per state. We’re actively expanding coverage; choose your state when you sign up, and if it isn’t live yet we’ll let you know the moment it is.

What disciplines and license types are covered?+

Water treatment, water distribution, wastewater collection, and wastewater treatment — across all grade levels. You can track multiple licenses across disciplines on one account.

Are the practice exams like the real certification exam?+

Practice and full simulation exams are timed and randomized, with instant scoring and per-section weakness analysis so you know exactly what to study before test day. They are study tools and are not affiliated with any state exam.

Can I track my continuing education (CE) hours?+

Yes. Log CE activities and track approved hours toward each license renewal — your dashboard shows how many hours you still need and how long until each license is due, so nothing sneaks up on you.

I change employers often. Do I lose my history?+

No. One PathH₂O account follows you your entire career. Your licenses, exam history, CE records, and experience stay with you when you move between employers or between an individual and an organization.

How does pricing work for teams?+

Organizations buy seats and assign them to operators. You are billed per active seat and can assign, revoke, and reassign seats anytime. See the pricing page for details.

Is there a free option?+

Yes. You can create a free account to access practice exams and basic resources, then upgrade for the full study library, exam simulations, and complete compliance tracking.

How is my data handled?+

We collect only what is needed to run the platform and never sell your personal information. You can request an export or deletion of your data anytime. See our Privacy Policy for details.
