• Account & profile: name, email address, password (stored hashed), phone, state, operator ID, and professional details.
• Licensing & compliance: licenses you track, continuing-education records, experience and education entries.
• Activity: practice-exam attempts and scores, study activity, and notifications.
• Organization data: if you join an organization, your membership, role, and seat status.
• Payment: processed by our payment provider; we store limited billing metadata, never full card numbers.
• Technical: device, browser, and log information needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use your information

• To provide, personalize, and improve the platform.
• To track your licenses, CE hours, and renewal deadlines and send related reminders.
• To operate organization features and workforce analytics for administrators.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To communicate with you about your account and respond to requests.
• To review content you report as inaccurate or problematic and improve our study materials.
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With your organization: if you are a member, administrators can see your membership, license status, and workforce-analytics data for your account.
• With service providers: vendors who help us run the platform (hosting, email delivery, payment processing) under contract.
• For legal reasons: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.

4. Your choices and rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at support@philantrac.com. You can also update most profile information and notification preferences directly in the app.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal and compliance obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion at any time.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transport and hashed passwords. 7. Children's privacy

PathH₂O is intended for working professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
