Advanced System Operations & CMOM (Grades 2-4)

Connecticut's collection system operator certification (Grades 1-4) is a voluntary credential administered by NEWEA's Collection Systems Certification Committee rather than a state DPH/DEEP mandate, but the technical bar for Grades 2-4 reflects genuine responsibility for larger, more complex systems. Where the Grade 1 overview introduces basic components, Grades 2-4 require operating and maintenance-planning depth.
